Gold Coast 2018 Netball: 5th – 15th April

Uganda Netball She Cranes have been drawn in Pool B at the 2018 Commonwealth games.

The reigning African netball champions are in the same group as New Zealand, England, Malawi, Wales and Scotland.

The tournament will be held at Coomera Indoor sports facility of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gold Coast, Australia  between 5th – 15th April 2018.

Pool A has hosts Australia, Jamaica, South Africa, Barbados, Fiji and Northern Ireland.

Uganda’s fixtures:

The East Africans kick off with a date against New Zealand on the 5th April 2018.

They will rest the following day before returning to action against fellow African representatives, Malawi on April 7th.

On April 8th, Uganda will face England and rest out on the 9th.

The final two preliminary round games will be against Wales and Scotland on the 10th and 11th April 2018 respectively.

The top four countries will play in the quarter finals.

  • 5th April 2018: New Zealand Vs Uganda
  • 7th April 2018: Uganda Vs Malawi
  • 8th April 2018: England Vs Uganda
  • 10th April 2018: Wales Vs Uganda
  • 11th April 2018: Uganda Vs Scotland
