UCU Sides in Play-off Action

The UCU Canons are up for a task of stopping high flying Kyambogo Warriors in the game 1 of the MTN FUBA League playoffs tonight at YMCA. UCU will have to keep out old boy Ivan Enabu whose brilliant feats of basketball saw Warriors lose just a single game in the regular season and Ronnie Kasewu who has greatly improved at possibly the hardest task on the basketball court, shooting from behind the arc.

The canons will have to improve on their defense and must have Sudi Ulanga more involved when he opens up as he has got a great timing of his shorts behind the 3 point line, in the paint and at the free throws.

In the ladies game the UCU Lady Canons will play the Magic Stormers who waited until Wednesday night for Makerere Sparks’ 47-61 loss to KIU Rangers to be assured of their play off place. Having easily completed a double over Stormers in the regular season and losing just one game, to KCC Leopards. UCU’s loss in game 1 will present a shocker of the season.
