Sam Gombya posted another big performance as warriors beat new comers Rez Life 113-64 on Saturday evening.
The Warriors center poured in game and personal season high 26 points and pulled down23 rebounds in his side’s blow-out victory. Leading by just 8 points at the end of the first quarter, Warriors (2-0) pushed the lead to double digits in the second period. Rez Life (0-2) tried to keep it competitive but Warriors scorching second half overwhelmed them.
The only reason Warriors didn’t score over 113 points was
due to slippery hands. They were careless with the ball committing 30 turnovers but made up by out rebounding Rez Life 58-34. The Warriors have committed an unfathomable 60 turnovers in the first two games.
Apart from Ivan Enabu (8points) all the Warriors players scored in double figures. Rez Life were led by William Odongs 17 points as Davis Opuli scored a point less.
