SC Villa will be in search for a third win on the trot when they host Jinja based Victors FC in a league game to be played at Nakivubo stadium this afternoon.
The injury plagued side that has so far registered wins against bottom sides Utoda FC and Hoima-Busia FC in their previous two league games will hope Sula Kato’s side also joins its casualities.
Mike Mutebi will still be without a number of key players for the game including Isaac Muleme, Ayub Kisaliita and Noah Ssemakula. Ronald Muganga may return to the squad after recovering from a knock he suffered in the 2-0 win over KCC FC and has missed the club’s last three games.
Steven Bengo who was wasteful in the 2-1 win over Hoima-Busia is expected to be the man to lift the Jogoos in the tie while club top scorer Ndaula Moses and second runner up Herman Wasswa are also expected in the side.
Sula Kato’s side will rely on Ssebuguzi Eric to trouble the unreliable Villa rear guard and the gaffer hopes his talisman will lift the side.
SC Villa lies 6th on the 16 team log with 43 points while Victors FC is 11th on 34 points. The two sides played a barren draw in the first leg tie at Kakindu albeit with different coaches in the dug out then with Serbain Zivo for villa while Nsimbe was in charge of the Kakindu side.
