Squash player of the year Michael Kawooya, has been signed up by sports leading equipment supplier Harrow Sports that will provide him with squash rackets throughout the year.
“I am glad to have signed with the sports equipment supplying company,” a excited Kawooya said. “I am looking forward to playing better squash with my new rackets.”
The country’s top squash player could not reveal the total package in terms of its worthyness. “I really can’t put the sponsorship in figures,but all I can say its a huge figure and will boost me and squash in the nation,” Kawooya said. “I must give credit to my coaches and the local squash body USRA for making work hard and making me what I am and due to the hard work that I have put in I have been reward.”
Harrows is a leading sports equipment company that supplies top quality rackets to professional players on the Professional Squash Association circuit including Uganda’s professional Ibrahim Nyanzi, who is ranked 296 in the world.
