Kampala City Council will face last year’s Uganda Cup losing finalists, Vipers in the quarter finals of the 2013 Uganda Cup. This followed draws for the Round of 8 for the 40th Edition of the Uganda Cup conducted at the Federation headquarters on Wednesday.
Vipers who are currently placed second on the FUFA Super League log will host table leaders, KCC at Buikwe Ground on Friday, 26th April 2013. In another anticipated quarter final thriller, defending champions URA FC face stubborn Entebbe FC on Tuesday 14th May.
The winner between Victoria University and Kira Young FC will host Bright Stars FC at Namboole stadium on Tuesday April 30th while surprise quarter finalists Kamwokya United battles army side Simba SC at a venue yet to be communicated by the Competitions committee.
The first leg of the semi finals are slated for May 14th and 17th. Meanwhile this year’s Finals will be played in Masindi Municipal Stadium, Kitara Region on Sunday May 26th.
