Winning set three and set four, Nkumba Volleyball Club managed to out class Mulago Volleyball club at a midday encounter at MUBS grounds, Nakawa.
The 2012 national league runners up, Nkumba, showed their intentions early by claiming the 1st set but however were challenged in the second set when Mulago’s Kitimbo Paul and Patrick Opolot led their team to success.
However, Nkumba regrouped their composure ending the game at a 3-1 win over mulago.
The party didnot end there as Nkumba also thumped Old Kampala Volleyball Club at Lugogo in the MTN Arena registering their 3rd win this season.
Just as the earlier game, they also won this one by a 3-1 margin.
Failure to win the second set continued despite victory in the other three sets, (25-19,25-18,25-18) with great motivation from their captain Otim Dickens.
The game started late due to poor time management and later a power failure which was handled by referee Raffi and Nicholas Odeke.
