Uganda Vs Angola – Mandela National Stadium, Namboole
Ahead of their crucial 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Uganda, the Palancas Negras of Angola are expected to arrive this Thursday afternoon.
“The communication we received indicates they will arrive here Thursday (today) afternoon in a 39 man contingent”, Fufa Head of communication Rogers Mulindwa told Kawowo Sports.
“They will however be un able to train today but will get the feel of Namboole on Friday as per Fifa rules and regulations”, he added.
The team had camped in Johannesburg, South Africa ever since they drew 1-1 with Senegal in their previous game last Saturday.
Angola currently sits third on the group J table and only maximum points from the Cranes clash will keep their hopes of progressing to the next round alive.
The Antelopes were held to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture in June and have lost on their previous two visits to Uganda.
