1^st Entebbe City Charity Race

Start/Finish: Entebbe Children’s’ Park -7 a.m

Preparations for the inaugural Entebbe City Charity race have been finalized. This 10 KM race, which is organized by Entebbe Child Welfare Ministry, targets to construct a Municipality community vocational training center for all the young, idle women and men into skilled trainings.

“About 100 participants have already confirmed to compete in the race, whose purpose is to help the poor and disadvantaged children in the community”, says Samuel Batambira, the Director, Entebbe Child welfare Ministry.

Various Elite runners, individuals and companies are expected to grace this race that will start and finish from Entebbe Children’s Park in Entebbe town.  “The route race has been well designed with great security measures to give the participants a smooth and fun parked activity”, says Batambira.

This Charity race, whose registration is currently going on at Ug.Shs. 10,000/= at Anna’s Corner, Entebbe, Kitoro Taxi Park, Webs  and Achiever’s Cafes and Entebbe Shell Petrol Station, is exclusively sponsored by Entebbe Child Welfare Ministry, Entebbe Municipality, Athi Buiding, Rwenzori Mineral water and Protea Hotel, Entebbe.
