France based Chipolopolo defender Stoppila Sunzu has stated that the Football Association of Zambia technical committee was spot on by inviting Uganda Cranes for an international friendly.
The two sides meet on Wednesday 5 at Levy Mwanawasa stadium and Sunzu who is part Patrice Beaumelle’s squad the Cranes gave them a hard time when they faced in the 2013 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers and expects a stern but important test ahead of upcoming competitive fixtures.
“Tomorrow’s game is a big game for us because Uganda gave us hard time here and Kampala,” said Sunzu.
“I believe the technical committee was spot on to invite Uganda. For this day we can’t ask much so, fans will enjoy a very competitive game tomorrow (Wednesday).
Sunzu featured for Chipolopolo against Uganda Cranes in two legs of the 2013 AFCON qualifiers and scored the winning penalty in the game at Namboole to seal Zambia’s qualification to the finals.
