The Mauritania Football Federation (FFRIM) has shortlisted four coaches among which one will be named to take over the vacant position of the national team coach.
The list announced by the FA after its meeting held last week includes French trio; Pierre Lechantre, Corentin Martins and Sebastien Lechantre. Serbian Milovan Rajevac completes the foursome.
The four names will today be reviewed by the selection committee headed by FFRIM President, Ahmed Ould Yahya, to decide on the best choice for onward submission to the Executive Committee for approval.
Mauritania sacked Frenchman Patrice Neveu last month after Uganda eliminated them from the 2015 AFCON race.
