Guinea team contingent today morning arrived in Tamale city for Wednesday’s AFCON qualifier clash with Ghana. Local Medias in Ghana indicate that the Syli Nationale (Guinea) team will feel Tamale stadium lawn later in the day.
The visitors were notable in a 1-1 draw with Ghana on Sunday, thanks to Ibrahim Troare late strike that leveled matters after Asamoah Gyan had put Ghana in lead.
Ghana will engage Guinea on Wednesday in group E of the AFCON qualifier match.
Elsewhere, the Uganda Cranes left Ethiopia capital on Monday for their final destination in Lome, Togo. The contingent, that left Entebbe airport on Sunday, spent a night in Addis Ababa at the luxurious Beshale Hotel.
Uganda is expected to have touched down Lome city in Monday evening. Togo who broke Uganda’s home unbeaten run, with a 0-1 defeat on Saturday, will host the Cranes on Wednesday in the other group E match.
