Ugandan drivers and fans who had stormed Rwanda for Rallye Des Mille Collines, gathered at galaxy hotel in kigali to pay tribute to Christophe Desquene whose life was claimed in a rally accident on Staturday in Kawangire, Kigali.
Christophe Desquene lost his life in the second stage of the event, when his driver went off the road and struck a tree that wrecked the car leaving the driver seriously injured.
Counsel Geoffrey Nsamba gave a speech on behalf of team Uganda expressing the grief.

The tribute was concluded by reciting a prayer and the handing over of a bouquet of flowers to the organisers of the rally in Rwanda.
