Former Uganda Cranes winger, Dan Wagaluka has joined Uganda Premier League debutant side, Lweza Football Club on a 6 month long deal from Soana F.C.

Lweza F.C official, Jajja Moze, intimated to Kawowo Sports on Tuesday;

We have met personal terms with Soana F.C and the player (Wagaluka) to play for Lweza for 6 months and we hope his experience, pace and cross execution is a great acquisition for the club.

Wagaluka, a football self confessed nomad has previously featured for Iganga Town Council F.C, 16 time Uganda record league champions, Sports Club Villa, Uganda Revenue Authority, Rwandan record champions, Armée Patriotique Rwandaise (APR) F.C, Kenya’s AFC Leopards and lately Soana F.C, a club he promoted from the FUFA Big League.

 The 28 year old midfielder, comfortable on either wings of the playing arena injects pace and trickery to the Lweza side that finished 12th on 17 points by the time the first round of the league ended.

He finished with two goals to his name after a disappointing Soana F.C opening first half of the 2014/15 season.

Lweza F.C commences the second round preparations with gymnasium sessions on Wednesday before they embark on power drills (at the beach and swimming pool) mid January.

Wagaluka joins experienced guard, Michael Sserumaga at Lweza as the Entebbe road based team seeks to attain a comfortable slot by the end of the regular season in May 2015.

Soana F.C meanwhile still lingers in the relegation zone, 14th on the 16 team log with just 12 points fetched in 15 games.
