International Club Friendly:

Nakumatt F.C (Kenya) 2-2 Power Dynamos (Zambia)

Ugandan born winger cum striker, Jimmy Bageya marked his debut for Kenyan side Nakumatt FC with a goal during the 2-2 draw with visiting Zambia giants Power Dynamos in a friendly match played on Saturday 7 February at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Lawrence Chungu brought down Bageya in the forbidden area but Peter Nzuki blasted the resultant penalty wide to deny the home side a 20th minute lead.

Bageya, in his first match since departing the Dockers (Bandari F.C) himself made amends four minutes later witha delightful chip over  the Dynamos keeper, Joshua Titima following a quick counter attack.

Dynamos equalized in the 33rd minute through Richard Kasonde who headed in a Chungu free kick before Kasonde doubled the lead on the stroke of half time.

As the match looked destined for the ‘death’, Tyron Owini equalized for Nakumatt barely 3 minutes to the full-time whistle.

Other Ugandans who featured in Nakumatt were Ivan Anguyo and Sula Bagala.
