Uganda Premier League: (Match Day 16)
Uganda Revenue Authority 2-1 BUL F.C
Peter Lwasa and a late Yasser Mugerwa goal for Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) helped the home side cancel Joshua Masene’s early goal as the tax collectors beat BUL F.C in the Uganda Premier league at the mehta Stadium in Lugazi.
The game was coach Joseph Mutyaba’s first in charge of Jinja based BUL, who sacked former head tactician, Kefa Kisala over administrative woes.
I am very excited having scored on my debut. It is a pleasure that my goal is the match winner.
Mugerwa, who scored in the 93rd minute told Kawowo Sports.
The fixture was Mugerwa’s first since his January transfer from Sports Club Victoria University.
URA’s come back was the second in a space 4 days after last Friday’s recovery over Madagascar club.ASSM Elegco Plus F.C where the Ugandan representatives at the CAF Confederations Cup twice came from a goal down to win 3-2 at Nelson Mandela Stadium, Namboole.
Despite the victory, URA remains 4th on the table standings with 30 points as BUL F.C is 5th on 23 points after 16 games.
