Orlando Pirates Carry a 2-1 lead from 1st leg
South African premier league club, Orlando Pirates successfully arrived in Uganda on Thursday evening.
The team contingent of 29 people (18 players and 11 officials) reached Entebbe International Airport from Johannesburg at 7:01 p.m using the South African Airlines flight SA 160.
The journey has been great. We expect a good game. We shall communicate to the media on Friday in a press conference
Head coach, Eric Tinkler, a former Bafana Bafana skipper told Kawowo Sports upon arrival at Entebbe.
They carry a 2-1 lead from the first leg played three weeks ago in Johannesburg.
Gerald Don is the leader of delegation with a lady, Thandi Merafe the head of media affairs at the club.
Orlando Pirates is accomodated at Kampala Sheraton Hotel. They will train at Nelson Mandela National Stadium on Friday evening (at 4:00 pm) for one hour.
