Ethiopia Chess Federation has confirmed that they will be sending five players to participate in the upcoming Zone 4.2 Africa Chess Championship to be held in Kampala, Uganda from 17 to 26 April 2015.
The participation of Ethiopia’s players in the zonal was confirmed by the Ethiopia Chess Federation President, Ghidey Gebremedhin Debessu in a communication to Uganda Chess Federation.
This follows earlier confirmations for participation in the event from Egypt, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Sudan. Hosts, Uganda will be represented by seven players in the Open and seven in the Ladies category.
