Vipers SC Vs URA FC – Buikwe @ 4.30pm

Vipers SC will have to be at their best when they face their sternest test of the second round so far in the league.

The log leaders hosts URA FC at Buikwe aiming to stretch the lead at the top given that close competitors KCC FC and SC Villa are not in action.

The 2010 champions have now won two games on the bounce after going three without victory and sit on top with 52 points just two and three ahead of second and third placed KCC and SC Villa respectively.

Coach Edward Golola is well aware of the hurdle they face in URA but believes his boys can match the Tax men pound for pound.

“URA is a top side with top quality players especially in midfield but we can match them,” he told Kawowo Sports. “We respect them but don’t fear them at all,” he added.

The hosts will hope Julius Malingumu who scored his first goal since joining the club in the January window dons his scoring boots again.

However, in Farouk Miya, Saddam Juma and Mike Mutyaba, the side poses a number of goal threats from midfield just like URA has in Feni Ali, Said Kyeyune and Yasser Mugerwa among others.

The reverse fixture ended in a 2-2 draw at Lugazi despite the tax men enjoying a two goal lead at one point.

Victory will see the hosts widen lead at the top to five points while URA will increase their tally to 41 points but stay fourth with maximum points off Vipers.
