The Bright Stars F.C right back limped off grimacing in pain after an awkward landing on his ankle during a test game with the senior team – the Cranes.
The scaring injury comes barely a day to the highly anticipated return leg clash with Rwanda at Nakivubo stadium.
The team doctor, Yahaya Katumba rushed to attend to the injured player with more updates expected on Thursday.
Should Nsubuga fail to recover in time, his understudy, Deus Bukenya, one of the four unused substitutes or Lweza captain, Ibrahim Kiyemba will most definitely carry on the mantle to play at the right back role.
Already striker, Umar Kasumba has been ruled out of the clash with a sprained hand injury.
Faruku Miya and Muzamiru Mutyaba’s away goals elevate the Kobs in a pole position as the Ugandan youngsters lead 2-1 from the Kigali clash.
