A day to Uganda Cranes CHAN return leg against Uganda, the head coach, Milutin Sredojevic has released two players from the 25 man squad.

In the same vein, the Serbian born tactician has called up two other players to bolster the team.

Right back, Julius Ntambi and left back, Sylvester Okello were released as SC Villa’s newly signed players, Tadeo Lwanga (recruited from Express) and Umar Kasumba (formerly of Police F.C) make way.

The summoned players featured in Wednesday’s friendly game for the Uganda Kobs against the senior team which the latter won 4-1 with Kasumba scoring a late penalty as a consolation for the junior team.

The two are to beef up the team ahead of the Malawi friendly game on Monday.

“We are taking a completely U-23 team for the friendly against Malawi on 6th July, 2015 and prepare for the game against Egypt on 18th July. The game will also help the U-23 players to assess their fitness levels before the next competitive fixture,” Micho stressed.

The team leaves for Malawi early Sunday just hours after the CHAN return leg.
