Tanzania Premier League champions Young Africans have completed the signing of Togolese international defender Vincent Bossou ahead of the new season.
Bossou was on trials with the club that has been in Mbeya getting ready for next Saturday’s Community Shield match against Azam FC.
According Tanzanian reports, Yanga’s head of Information and Communication department Jerry Muro, head coach Hans van der Pluijm had to approve the deal before the player could join the side.
Bossou began his career at Maranatha FC in Togo, before making the Togolese squad for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations.
He withdrew prior to playing a match due to the Togo national football team attack and joined Étoile Sportive du Sahel in January 2010.
He also featured for four Vietnamese clubs – Navibank Saigon, Becamex Binh Duong, TDC Binh Duong and An Giang FC – between 2011 and 2014
