Vipers SC 1-1 Lweza FC
Vipers SC missed a chance to move within a point of log leaders KCCA after drawing 1-1 with Lweza FC at Buikwe on Tuesday.
The champions went into the game on the back of a disappointing draw with Sadolin Paints and maximum points coupled with KCCA’s draw against rivals SC Villa would have put them just a point adrift.
However, they found themselves drawing another game when Rajab Kakooza goal meant Erisa Sekisambu goal could only fetch them a point and not three.
On a personal note, Sekisambu’s goal scoring form continued with his sixth of the campaign since crossing from SC Villa but it leaves the Vipers technical team scratching their heads having won just once five outings.
Vipers remain second on the table with 25 points while Lweza stay 12th with 16 points.
