SC Villa 0-1 KCCA

Herman Wasswa scored against his former bosses SC Villa to help KCCA lift the inaugural StarTimes Cup in the presence Nigerian soccer legend Nwankwo Kanu at Nakivubo on Wednesday.

The striker tapped home from close range after 19 minutes with man of the match Jackson Nunda bagging an assist.

The midfielder combined well with substitute Joseph Ochaya down the left before swinging in a low cross which Wasswa sent into the net.

It was a game of two halves as the Kasasiro dominated the first half with Nunda pulling the strokes in the centre of the pack although there were limited chances.

At one time though, Ochaya made a goal clearance to deny the Jogoos a chance for an equaliser but Wasswa, Senkatuka and Paul Mucurezi also had chances.
