Rwanda U-20 vs. Uganda U-20 – Kigali Regional Stadium, Nyamirambo

The Uganda national U-20 team team will be captained by Vipers Sports Club hard working defender, Halid Lwalira.

The composed center half was coach Kefa Kisala’s pick for his calmness and exceptional leadership abilities.

“Halid (Lwalirwa) is the team captain and he will be assisted by Olinga. The two are great players, composed and team leaders” Kisala said of the two players.

The 29 man contingent left Kampala by road on Thursday night with the FUFA bus.

Water F.C central midfielder, Emmanuel ‘Song’ Olinga, the only survivor on Uganda’s U-17 team of 2014 is the deputy captain.

Rwanda hosts the the first leg of the CAF U-20 qualifier at the Kigali Regional stadium in Nyamirambo on Saturday.

There are 18 players and 11 officials that have traveled.

Kisala is assisted by Richard Wasswa, Arthur Kyesimira and goalkeeping coach, Daniel Kiwanuka.
