If you thought KCCA’s business in the transfer market is done, you will be surprised.

The champions have already signed more than seven players but are understood to be interested in former SC Villa skipper, Isaac Kirabira.

The defensive midfielder spent last season at The Saints after lifting the Uganda Cup with his childhood club in 2015 and was impressive for Moses Basena’s side and chipped in with a few goals.

KCCA Manager Mike Mutebi is a great admirer of the diminutive anchorman and is understood to be pursuing the deal to ensure it happens before the season kicks off.

The Kasasiro are also believed to have agreed personal terms with left back Isaac Muleme but the deal has been delayed by SC Villa’s appeal against a decision by the FUFA Players’ Status Committee which barred Muleme among others to leave Villa Park on free.

The Lugogo based side has already beefed up their squad with goalkeeper Douglas Kisembo, defender Denis Rukundo, midfielders Vincent Kayizzi and Brian Majwega plus forwards Ronald Musana, Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Paul Musamali.

Also likely to pen deals at Lugogo are Brian Ochwo and Allan Mugalu.
