The 2016 East Africa Military Sports games will resume Tuesday with a series of games on the menu after a cultural outing break on Monday.

This follows a break on Monday to allow the participants take part in the cultural tour.

Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) coached by Moses Basena takes on Kenya Ulinz Stars at the Kigali Regional Stadium in football.

The final game will be played between Tanzania and Rwanda at Amahoro national stadium.

The medal presentation and closing ceremony at the same venue on Wednesday.

The last game in basketball will see Tanzania face Uganda, while defending Netball champions Uganda take on Kenya in the final last game this afternoon at Amahoro stadium.

Earlier, Rwanda, RDF basketball team registered their third victory in a row victory, this time against the KDF team (75-70).

The UPDF won silver medals for both Men and Women category in Cross – Country.

Uganda came second to Kenya who bagged gold for cross-country that took place at IPCRC Kicukiro.

The 10th Edition of the games were officially opened up by Gen James Kabarebe, the Minister of Defence of Rwanda at Amahoro Stadium.

The opening soccer match between Rwanda Defence Forces of Rwanda and Ulinzi of Kenya ended in a 1-0 scoreline in favour of Kenya.

Rwanda lost against Uganda 2-0 in football in Nyamirambo, whereas Tanzania dominated Kenya (25-16) in handball at Amahoro stadium.

Earlier in the day, Tanzania overcame Kenya 39-33 in Netball.

Uganda hosted the last games in Kampala.

The military games are intended to fooster unity and bind solidarity among the forces of the East African federation.

Tuesday Games:

Netball: Uganda vs Kenya – 2pm

Handball: Rwanda vs Kenya – 10am

Football: Kenya vs Uganda – 3:30pm

Basketball: Tanzania vs Uganda – 5pm
