  • AFCON 2017 Qualifier: Uganda Vs Comoros – Sunday 4th September 2016 (5 p.m)

After two sessions at the Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) playground in Bukoto, the national football team Uganda Cranes shifted base to the Nelson Mandela National stadium, Namboole.

Of the 32 summoned players, the camp has eighteen (18) with three foreign based players – Geoffrey Massa and Khalid Aucho (both Baroka) joining Ethiopian based Isaac Isinde who has been in the country since June 2016.

According to the team media officer, Hamza Nsereko, the Uganda Cranes will train at Namboole stadium until match day.

On Thursday and Friday, the team trained at KISU but changed to Namboole stadium on Saturday where they will be based until match day

Milutin Sredejovic, the head remains positive the rest of the players summoned will be in camp by Monday latest ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly with Kenya.

The team has shifted base from the usually used Sky Hotel in Naalya to the heavily guarded Serene Suits in Mutundwe.
