CECAFA Women Championship: Kenya in comfort zone against Zanzibar at Halftime

Kenya Harambee Starlets continue their dominance at the on-going CECAFA Women Championship at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru in Buikwe district – Uganda.

By the close of opening 45 minutes of their third Group A match against Zanzibar Island Queens, Kenya had taken a comfortable 3-0 lead.

Christine Nafula is the main tormentor with two goals of the game in which David Ouma has made significant changes to the team that played the first two games of the tournament against Uganda and Burundi.

Jacky Ogol completed the rout with the third goal on the stroke of half time.

Zanzibar might opt for the damage limitation strategy in a match being played under scorching sunny conditions.
