Ghana Black Stars head coach Avram Grant has named the starting eleven for his charges against Uganda Cranes in a group E 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at Tamale Stadium on Friday.

Team skipper Asamoah Gyan leads the charges in a two man attack that also has Jorden Ayew.

Ghana will begin its 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign against Cranes of Uganda before they face Egypt and Congo in home and away group matches.

Coach Avram Grant welcomes the skipper of the senior national team Gyan back from injury as he partners Jordan Ayew in attack for the Black Stars this afternoon.

Razak Braimah starts in post for Ghana with Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey and John Boye play in central defense as Harrison Afful and Baba Rahman play on the right and left of defense respectively.

Mubarak Wakaso and Afriyie Acquah are Ghana’s midfield partners for this afternoon’s opening World Cup qualifying game with Christian Atsu and Frank Acheampong on the flanks.

Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredejovic also released the visitors’ starting eleven that has team captain Geofrey Massa relegated to the bench.
