Ahead of his former bosses’ visit to Champions stadium, Mwererwe, Bright Stars skipper Baker Lukooya has played down the magnitude of the fixture.
The former Kira Young midfielder who had a six months stint at Lugogo before Mike Mutebi deemed him surplus on arrival says it’s a normal game as the two sides come face to face on Tuesday.
“It’s like any other league game,” he started. “It’s a normal tie with just 3 points at stake. We respect them as defending champions but we don’t fear them,” he added.
KCCA haven’t been exceptional on their travels and have already lost 7 points away from which gives Lukooya and company hope to frustrate them.
We have belief as a team and playing at home gives us more resolve. I doubt they will leave with three points.
Fred Kajoba’s side lost both fixtures last season and were also bundled out of the Uganda Cup by the Kasasiro.
