SC Villa defender Ibrahim ‘Muzeyi’ Kiyemba might have shocked many when he scored his first ever goal for the club since departing Lweza in June 2016.

It took the rock solid center half just 50 seconds in their second game on the Vietnam tour against Dong Tam Long An to open with the day’s goal.

More surprising about the goal itself; Kiyemba did not score through a set piece or a headed effort – but rather a well built goal after an eye catching one-two with midfielder Tadeo Lwanga before he finished off the advancing goalie.

Kiyemba, who rarely finds the net even in training was also shocked by the goal.

To be sincere, it was a beautiful goal. I also do not recall how I came into that scoring position but that is all stemming from good training.

Dedication:
The former Lweza captain dedicated the goal to his father especially the mother and father.

I dedicate that wonder strike to my father and mother. They have been there for me in the good and bad times.

Hajati Sarah Nankanjja and Hajji Mustapha Lule. They are special to me and will be for the rest of my life.

SC Villa lost the lead as they succumbed to a late equalizer in the 90th minute to share the spoils.

Earlier, the Jogoos had won convincingly in the first game when they overcame Binh Dough 4-1.

The club took a rest on Thursday and will resume business on Friday against Khanh Hoa Football club.

They are accommodated at the 5 star Ho Chi Minh city Queen Ann hotel.

SC Villa is preparing for the next league engagement on 3rd December 2016 against rivals Vipers away at Nakivubo Stadium.

Currently, SC Villa is second on the log with 24 points after 12 games.
