With over fifteen years in Motorsport, Joseph Kamya can check another box off his career bucket list.
Kamya admitted that his career turnaround is a dream come true after winning the 2016 Co-drivers National rally championship in Jinja over the weekend.
With Jas Mangat, Kamya secured his maiden NRC co-driver title.
“This title means a lot to me, my family and career. I have been in the sport for a while and with this, I am living my dream,” he told Kawowo Sports.

“This season was my best, well spread and it gave me a chance to traverse some parts of Uganda and Tanzania.”

Kamya attributes his success to Mangat who he believes made him a better co-driver.
“Being my first time to sit with Mangat, a very fast and competitive driver definitely called for me to up my game in terms of preps, physical fitness and with it I guess I became a good co-driver.”
