The Wakiso 4th Division football league got underway on Sunday, 4th December 2016 with seven games played at various play grounds in the district.
14 goals were scored in the opening round of the matches. Kiteesa outwitted Tanda 3-1 in one of the comprehensive results registered on the day.
The same result was recorded by Kiwulwe against Matugga United at their lake side play ground in Kiwulwe village off Kisubi, along Kampala – Entebbe Highway.
Kitende defeated Entebbe Leopards 2-1 at the Kiwafu play ground in Entebbe as KB Lions lost 2-0 at their Kajjansi play ground in Buwambo.
Kataka and Mapeera played to a one all draw at the Nkumba primary school play ground.
The league returns on Wednesday, 7th December 2017 when Mweera against Kasenge Young.
Meanwhile, the Wakiso District 5th division will also start on Wednesday when Set Up takes on Manyangwa.
