Nzui-Manto 69-88 City Oilers

Benjamin Komakech racked up a double-double in City Oilers’ last game of the 2016 FIBA Africa Champions Cup.

The point guard scored 17 points and dished out 10 assists as the Zone V champions beat the Cameroon outfit 88-69 to finish ninth in their debut appearance.

After dropping all their group games, Oilers settled for a classification game but were not about to finish last at the tournament as they got off to a strong start and had a double-digit lead deep in the opening quarter.

Oilers led by 16 at the half and did not trail as they completed the tournament with a 1-4 record.

Stanley Ociiti fouled out with team-high 19 points and 7 rebounds. Kami Kabangu scored 16 points and picked 7 rebounds. Jimmy Enabu chipped in with 14 points.

Etienne Tametong Kalume scored game high 23 points in a losing effort. Billeg II turned in a 19 points and 12 rebounds performance for Nzui-Manto.
