In a bid to boost the national team players’ fitness levels, the Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredejovic has opted for three training sessions per day.

Micho indicated that there is desperate run against time for the players to attain full fitness.
Starting Tuesday, we shall train three times a day to ensure full fitness of the players
On Monday, 27 players turned up for training on Monday at Paradise Fitness Gym and Kabira Country Club in Bukoto.

The national team players will only have a day off on Christmas before resuming business on boxing day.
Micho remains worried whether they will play all the five planned international build ups ahead of the AFCON finals.
I will not speak on the logistics side but rather concentrate on my part of preparing the players. We have a programme laid out and only financial resources as promised by the President (Museveni) remain.
Uganda is in group D at the AFCON 2017 finals alongside Ghana, Egypt and Mali.
