Uganda Revenue Authority Football club, the representatives of Uganda at the 2017 Mapinduzi Cup are in group A.
They have been drawn to play against Simba from Tanzania, KVZ, Taifa Ya Jang’ombe and Jang’ombe Boys, all Zanzibar sides.
They will kick-off the Cup Defence on 1st January 2017 with a match against Zanzibar’s KVZ FC at Amaan Stadium.
The Ugandan tax collectors will rest on 2nd January before resuming business the next day against Jang’ombe Boys.
The long awaited match against Simba comes on the 5th January before winding up the group stage affair on the 8th January with a date against Taifa Ya Jang’ombe.
Group B has Young Africans, Azam FC (Tanzania), Zimamoto and Jamhuri, (Zanzibar).
The top two teams in each group will play the semi-finals and finals respectively.
