George ‘Best’ Nsimbe has agreed terms with Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions, Tusker FC Kawowo Sports understands.

Reliable sources indicate the former KCCA, Vipers and Azam coach has signed a two year deal at the Ruaraka based side to replace compatriot Paul ‘Latest’ Nkata who left the side for Bandari after guiding the side to a double.

Nsimbe confirmed to this website on Friday how talks were ongoing and he flew to Nairobi on Saturday.

“He has agreed with the club and he is back in the country (Uganda),” a source said. “It’s unclear whether he signed or not but they have reached agreement,” added a source that preferred concealment.

In case the deal is signed, it will be the second time in his illustrious coaching career that he will manage a club outside Uganda after he had a stint at Azam in Tanzania.

Nsimbe is a three time league champion with KCCA and has also won the Uganda Cup with Vipers.

His major task at the Brewers, home to countrymen Shafik Batambuze, Robert Omunuk and Hashim Sempala will be to retain the crown and also guide the side to the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
