Uganda Cup (Round of 64)
BUL 1-0 Kireka United

Goalkeeper Brian ‘Ziggi’ Bwete is a tried and tested entity. His experience between the goal posts emits loud volume.
Now at Jinja based club, Bul F.C, Bwete has set his personal and club ambitions right and in bold.
I am happy that we started with a win in the Uganda Cup. It gives me and all teammates pleasure to score maximum points from any football fixture
Strong start, good confidence
Ahead of the league second round kick off early February, Bwete thus envisages the bright start for any club as a perfect stepping stone to rejuvenate the club’s winning mentality of old.
“We are a strong club and need to have the belief and work hard as a unit” Bwete said.
Bul edged FUFA Big League side Kireka United 1-0 on Sunday at the Kakindu Stadium.
Veteran forward Yudah Mugalu scored the lone goal in the 38th minute of the game that the former Lweza goalie made his debut.
Bwete who can also play upfront has underlined his ambitions clearly at the club.
I want to be part of the winning culture at the club
Bwete started his club football business as a center forward at Hearts United in the U-12 team before he graduated and played for the same team in the then 1st division league.
Christened as ‘Ziggi Malle’, he later shifted base to Jogoo Young before being promoted to Sports Club Villa senior team.
He transferred to Uganda Revenue Authority who released him at the end of last season.
This season, he played the first round at Lweza and after six months, he is now at BUL where he also signed a short contract.
