Auditor Sam Bakiika will head the FUFA Electoral Commission committee for the forth coming federation elections.
Former FIFA Referee Yusuf Awuye is the vice chairman with Edgar Watson as the secretary.
The committee members are Habib Aluma, James Okodi, John Adupa Gena, Micheal Igole, Geoffrey Kintu, Stanley Kinene and FUFA Legal officer, Denis Lukambi (the latter was co-opted on the committee).
On Thursday, Bakiika’s team was briefed by the FUFA President Moses Magogo in a meeting also attended by the 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha, 2nd Vice President Darius Mugoye, Execuitve Member Chris Kalibala and FUFA Deputy CEO Humphrey Mandu.
The committee will implement the programme for the entire election process to be designed by the local soccer governing body – FUFA.
The preliminary exercise for elections will start in April.
The FUFA Electoral Committee was presented to the General Assembly for approval in Luweero at Nimrod Hotel has undergone an orientation exercise at FUFA House ahead of this year’s elections in August.
