Vipers SC striker Tony Odur is delighted to be among the goals of recent but says the most important thing is the team.

Odur scored Vipers’ first goal against KCCA at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo to take his tally to 9 goals as the Venoms became the first side to win at the venue since the artificial turf was laid.

“As a centre forward, it’s always nice to score,” he said. “But the most important thing is the team and am glad to play my part to help the team win,” he added.

With 3 goals in 2 games now, Odur who missed the better part as the second round started says he is happy to be back in the team.

As a player, it’s frustrating when you don’t play but the only thing is continue to work hard. It’s a delight to be back in the team and the target is to keep my place.

Odur’s goal means two of his goals have come against KCCA, a side he played for and won a league title with.
