Former KCCA captain Tom Masiko is destined for a career away from Lugogo after serving the club for almost seven years.
This was revealed by his agent Musa Ssebulime in an interview with Kawowo Sports who says the player won’t renew his contract with the Lugogo based after his seven year stint.
“He will be playing somewhere else,” Ssebulime said. Tasked to reveal his client’s next destination, Ssebulime remained tight lipped insisting. “His next club will be revealed will be known at the right time.”
He further issued a statement on his social media pages.
This is a statement to clear all the air and all speculations about the future of KCCAFC midfielder Masiko Tom.
After enjoying a successful career with the Lugogo based side and playing out his contract at the club in arguably the club’s best year, he won’t renew his contract as he seeks another challenge elsewhere. It’s a hard decision to make but taking on a new challenge is one thing he couldn’t let go.
Next destination will be known in the near future!

Interestingly, KCCA chairman Julius Kabugo, in reply to the same post denied the allegations insisting the private talks with the player are totally opposite of what the player agent claims.
In all my private conversations with him, he has denied signing anywhere! I have always known him as a very honest player and I believe he has not lost that very important value of life! If he however chooses to leave, we wish him all the very best!
Masiko, son to club legend Charles Baker Masiko and arguably the longest serving player in the current generation has been a subject of speculation with reports linking him with a move to Vipers as his contract at KCCA expires next month.
At the KCCA Awards dinner on Saturday, Kabugo tasked the player to clear the air in front of everyone and the player insisted he is still a Kasasiro.
