Less than a week after Brian Majwega handed in a transfer request at KCCA, Mike Mutebi has stated the midfielder will not play for the club again but will only leave through the right process.

An angry Mutebi rubbished the former Azam FC and Simba midfielder for indiscipline revealing the player hasn’t trained for a month and was surprised at him being summoned for national duty (Majwega training with Cranes at the moment).

“He hasn’t been here for around a month. And he is called to the national team,” a bemused Mutebi told the media on Tuesday. “This player belongs to KCCA. He hasn’t been around for a month. We are the cardinal employers of this player. How does the national team invite him without consulting us? – Not knowing his status,” a furious Mutebi wondered.

Now that’s the rubbish. That’s the rubbish that has been going on in Ugandan football. And that’s the rubbish that has followed Majwega.

I’m saying this because there is evidence. This is what happened to him when he was at Simba, he came here and when we were unveiling him, we told him we are giving him a second chance, he has abused it.

The former Uganda Cranes coach also challenged FUFA and the national team staff on what grounds they summon players without consulting with the clubs that own these players.

He will not be a KCCA player! He will not be a KCCA player but the Federation must also come up. That was indiscipline because the players belong to the club. How can you can call a player without knowing what has been going on. Has he been playing? He hasn’t been playing. How do you call him when he hasn’t been playing?

But all that is indiscipline in our game and lack of order in our game.

The always candid Mutebi warned that KCCA won’t accept that rubbish and advised the player to apologize but insisting that not even an apology will keep him at Lugogo.

For me we are not going to accept that. Brian Majwega is going to come here and apologize to KCCA and I can clearly tell you, he isn’t going to be a KCCA player; we are not going to be dealing with wild players. Not, not at all. He can go anywhere but has to go through the processes to leave this club.

Majwega handed in a transfer request at KCCA on June 28 citing breach of his contract after the club failed to pay his sign on fees balance worth Ugx. 15 million.
