CAR, who had played to a goal-less draw with The Gambia over the weekend, struck the opener in the 15th minute through Foxi Kethevoman’s volley.

Girona’s Michael Olunga created Eric Johanna for the equalizer in the 17th minute as the first 45 minutes ended one goal apiece.

CAR restored their lead through Eudes Dagoulou’s 64th minute’s header.

Hilaire Momi made it three with a well taken penalty followed a foul in the forbidden area by Zesco defender David Owino.

Olunga reduced the deficit with a goal in the 83rd minute but it was little too late.

Stars were reduced to 10 men after right back Ismail Gonzalez, based in Spain was sent for an early shower for foul language to the match referee.

Stanley Okumbi has last Saturday played to a 2 all draw with Comoros in Marrakech still.
