As match day three of the FUFA Inter-Provinces tournament (The Drum) takes effect on Saturday, all the eyes and focus for many will be on two provinces – Kampala and Busoga, among others.
The two teams have managed to maintain their 100 percent record in the opening match days with 6 points out of the possible six.
Kampala will be at their Lugogo home against Rwenzori at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo whilst Busoga faces a stern test against Teso at the Emokoru Ground in Bukedea.
Initially, Busoga won their opening games 3-0 comprehensively against Bugisu in the very first match of the championship at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe in Jinja.
During their second game, they humiliated Sebei 4-0 at the Kiprotich Stadium in Kapchorwa.
Kampala, on the other hand needed a late 1-0 win in Bukedi before triumphing 2-1 at home against Bunyoro.

“We take every match we play like a cup final. The players are focused and determined to win the third game and book the quarter final slot early” Kampala province head coach, Wasswa Bbosa noted.
Bbosa is expected to line up a formidable line up with the likes of Allan Kyambadde, Willy Kavuma, Daniel Sserunkuma among others.
Charles Ayiekho Lukula believes the early momentum set in the opening two matches, will provide the pace and precedent coming to the match away to the hard fighting Teso.
“We are glad that we have won the first two matches in convincing fashion without conceding any goal. The focus is to maintain the status quo until the knock out stages and lift the championship” Ayikeho stated.
Busoga will miss the services of Uganda Cranes midfielder Aucho Khalid, who traveled to India and Tanzanian based left back Shafiq Batambuze.
In the other six matches, Sebei hosts Bugisu at the Kiprotich Stadium in Kapchorwa, Lango entertains Buganda at the Lira Sports Ground.

For starters, Buganda is yet to win any game following their opening day blushes at home in Masaka during the 1-0 loss to Kigezi.
Kigezi travels to the Pece Stadium in Gulu to face Acholi and Karamoja will play their second match at home when they host Ankole at the Boma grounds in Moroto.
West Nile plays host to Tooro at the PTC Grounds in Arua as Bukedi will host Bunyoro at the Madibira grounds in Busia.
The FUFA President Moses Magogo, a key brain behind this tournament already traveled to Eastern Uganda well in time for the game in Busia.
Large crowds have been associated with this tourney whose games are played along the theme; “Celebrating our ancestry”.
