Javier Martinez Espinoza couldn’t hide his disappointment for failure to pick maximum points on a second successive occasion but was impressed with his side’s performance in the draw with KCCA.
The two sides drew 1-1 in an entertaining encounter at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende but the hosts were lucky to even earn a point after Ibrahim Sadam Juma missed a late penalty for KCCA.
“I think it was a very good game especially for the fans,” said Espinoza. “Both teams played well but I think we should have won,” he added.
Davis Kasirye and Tito Okello started the season firing but have since been left out of the team for the past couple of games and Espinoza had this to say when asked why.
“Kasirye got a knock in the week that ruled him out while Tito had problems with his stomach.
Vipers haven’t won in the previous two drawing all and take on a revitalised Express next week.
