- Pamba 2-2 Coastal Union
Mtibwa Sugar Football Club is determined fight for their slot in the Tanzania Main Premier League.
The sugar company funded club overcame Transit Camp 4-1 during the first leg of the Promotion and Relegation play-offs at the Uhuru Stadium, Dar es Salaam.
Home to Ugandan creative midfielder had a hat-trick hero in Ibrahim Hilika Ahmada and Kelvin Sabato.
Hilika’s goals came in the 9th, 70th and 84th minutes as Sabato’s goal was scored in the 12th minute.

The consolation for Transit Camp came from Karegea.
Later, Sabato paved way for Salum Kihimbwa on the half hour mark.
In the other match, Pamba shared the spoils with Coastal Union following a four goal stalemate at the Nyamagana stadium, Mwanza.

The respective return legs will be played on Saturday, 24th July 2021.
Coastal Union shall be hosting Pamba as Mtibwa Sugar will be home to Transit Camp.
JKT Tanzania (39 points), Gwambina (35 points), Ihefu (35 points) and Mwadui (19 points) were directly relegated to the second division leagye.
Any of Mtibwa Sugar or Coastal Union will be the other relegated party.
