Overview:
The NCBA Uganda open offers young golfers the unique opportunity to compete in a multi-day championship event and qualify for the U.S Kids Golf priority status.

- Schedule: 8th April 2023 (Official practice round & Opening ceremony), 9th – 10th April 2023 (Competition Days – Rounds 1 & 2)
- Categories: 6 & Under, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18 (Boys), 8 & Under, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18 (Girls)
- Venue: Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa course, Kigo
The Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa course in Kigo, Wakiso district is set to host the second edition of the NCBA Uganda Juniors golf open over the Easter weekend.
The official practice round will take place on Holiday Saturday, 8th April 2023.
The tournament will then officially swing off on Easter Sunday, 9th April before climaxing on Easter Monday, 10th April 2023.
The NCBA Uganda open offers young golfers the unique opportunity to compete in a multi-day championship event and qualify for the U.S Kids Golf priority status. By earning different levels of priority status, players can qualify for other U.S kids Golf major championships including regional, international, world or World Teen championships.

Age groups and yardages:
The tournament field will be divided into age groups and every category will play from an age specific yardage.
After the practice round on 8th April 2023, the players will be registered officially before the opening ceremony.
Round one will then tee-off on April 9th 2023 and round two on Easter Monday, 10th April 2023 as well as the awards ceremony.


Categories:
There are various categories that different players will be pooled to play.
For the boys; there will be 6 & Under, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, up to 18 year olds.
Under the girls’ gender, players ranging 8 & Under, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 18 years will be accommodated.
Prizes:
There will be certificates, trophies, golf accessories and other goodies to be given out to the exceling golfers.
NCBA Bank is the lead sponsor of this tournament that is meant to prepare and usher in the next generation of golfers.
Other partners include U.S Kids Golf, Lake Victoria Serena Glf Resort and Spa, Uganda Golf Union, among others.
This will be the second time that this championship is taking place.
