St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde and Seeta High School along with Seroma Christian High School booked their berths to play at the 2024 USSSA Fresh Dairy Nationals due in Luweero (Ndejje Secondary School).

St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde is the champion of the 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Basketball in Mukono region.

This followed a successful championship held at Seeta High School A-Level campus courts played on Good Friday and Holy Easter.

It was sweet revenge for St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde inflicted onto Seeta High School who had eliminated them at the semi-final stage during the district championship.

During the Mukono regional final, St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde who are coached by John Omondi overcame their rivals 58-47 during the well cheered final.

In the semi-finals, St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde won 31-29 over Seroma Christian High School.

“We prepared well for these qualifiers quite early. The players were also determined to excel and injected in extra effort to succeed” Mwase, a sports teacher at St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde stated.

The two finalists, along with Seroma Christian High School booked their berths to play at the 2024 USSSA Fresh Dairy Nationals due in Luweero (Ndejje Secondary School).
