The 2025 Vitality Netball Nations Cup climaxed at the London’s Copper Box Arena on Sunday, 9th February.

Hosts England won the championship after overcoming South Africa in a well contested finale.

Uganda She Cranes cast aside the earlier blushes to beat Malawi in the third place play off and win bronze.

The She Cranes overcame the She Flames from Malawi 55-40 to avenge the earlier 45-59 loss in Nottingham last week during the group stages.

Sharp shooter Mary Nuba Cholhok was named as the best player of the match.

Meanwhile, England out-muscled South Africa 61-55 in the grand finale to take home gold.

Coming to the third place play off, Uganda had lost all the three round robin games.

Uganda She Cranes lost to the hosts England 48-59 despite opening up with a slim 12-11 lead by the opening quarter.

England bossed the score-line 29-28 by the mandatory half-time break.

By the third quarter, it was all square; 42 goals apiece before England stretched the lead to 11 goals and won it in the fourth and final quarter 59-48.

The previous week, Uganda had lost to Malawi and South Africa 59-45 and 45-70 respectively at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, United Kingdom.
